Two Saudi sisters had thought of embarking on a small venture which does not exist in their area in the conservtive Gulf Kingdom so they can invest their savings before deciding on opening a women-only coffee shop.
Nuwair and Namsha had feared that their “Romantic Café” could not be as profitable as they had expected when they put all their savings into it.
“Our fears were baseless as the café has won the admiration of women in the area,” Nuwair said, quoted by Kabar newspaper.
“We have no experience in such things but it emerged as a successful project given its social significance.”
Kabar said “Romantic Café” was completed in nearly one year before it was launched in the northwestern town of Hail.
